Remote Licensed Health Insurance Agent
About The Position
This role focuses on customer service, ensuring prospective and current members have plans that meet their needs. The position involves handling inbound calls to assess eligibility, explain plan options, provide quotes, and complete enrollments. During downtime, agents will conduct outbound calls for D-SNP Medicaid referrals, CSNP retention outreach, and outreach to dependents who will soon need their own individual plans. Adherence to CMS, AHIP, and internal compliance guidelines is crucial. The role also requires transferring misrouted calls and guiding ineligible callers to appropriate resources.
Requirements
- Active Health Insurance License
- AHIP certification (or eligible to obtain)
- Health insurance sales, Medicare/D-SNP experience
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, MS Teams)
- Positive, coachable, and customer-focused attitude
- VA license required
Responsibilities
