Estheticians are expected to educate clients on skincare, recommend routine visits and homecare, and help clients understand the difference between a basic facial and a skincare ritual.

Requirements

Maintain an active Esthetics license in the state where you are working
Carry Esthetics liability insurance

Responsibilities

Design and prescribe progressive treatment plans, including homecare regimens, based on the client's individual skincare goals
Create an excellent experience through your friendly and helpful attitude
Effectively communicate with clients, spa management, and staff
Achieve sales and performance goals as outlined by spa leadership
Participate in hands-on training as well as workshops and webinars
