About The Position

Independence Title Company in the Austin, Texas area (Salado Office), a wholly owned subsidiary of Anywhere Integrated Services, is seeking a Licensed Escrow Assistant. Anywhere Integrated Services is a full-service title, settlement, underwriting and vendor management services company serving real estate companies, affinity groups, corporations and financial institutions in support of residential and commercial real estate transactions. The Licensed Escrow Assistant is responsible for coordinating the collection of information to finalize a home sale. This includes handling A to Z processing: frontend, curative for Schedule C, working up CDs/HUDs, as needed, and post-closing/funding tasks. The role requires hands-on experience with the closing process and professional, respectful, and effective communication, verbally and in writing, with customers and co-workers. The assistant will also back up on closings, after becoming licensed, as requested by Closer or management, and keep their Escrow Officer license active and CE credits up to date, after becoming licensed.

Requirements

  • A High School diploma or equivalent is required
  • Must successfully apply for Escrow Officer License once onboard with the Company
  • A minimum of 4 years of Escrow experience, frontend and backend/funding, required
  • Great written and verbal communication skills required
  • Able to work proficiently with technology and in fast paced environment
  • Microsoft Suite proficient, including Outlook
