About The Position

The Electrician & Mechanic Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and mechanical systems, equipment, and machinery to support safe and efficient operations. This role performs preventive and corrective maintenance activities, diagnoses equipment failures, and ensures compliance with company standards and applicable safety regulations. The technician will support facility and production operations by minimizing downtime and maintaining equipment reliability.

Requirements

  • Certified/Licensed Electrician awarded by the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico
  • Electricista certificado / licencia otorgado por el Estado Libre Asociado de Puerto Rico
  • 5-10 years of experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance within industrial or manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, motors, panels, PLCs, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, pumps, and mechanical equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
  • Experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical equipment failures.
  • Ability to perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Basic computer and documentation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including overtime or weekends if required.
  • Must be able to lift equipment and work safely in industrial environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical degree or certification in Electrical Technology, Mechanical Maintenance, Industrial Mechanics, or related field preferred.
