Requirements

Active Florida EC License preferred.
OR active Journeyman Electrician license with qualifications to obtain a Florida EC license.
Minimum 5 years of supervisory or foreman experience on commercial electrical job sites.
Extensive commercial electrical construction experience required.
Strong knowledge of NEC codes, commercial electrical systems, and safe installation practices.
Experience with switchgear, transformers, distribution panels, conduit installation, and commercial electrical infrastructure.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
Ability to work at heights, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
Valid Florida Driver’s License with safe driving record required.

Nice To Haves

Solar electrical experience is a plus.
Basic computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

Supervise and lead commercial electrical crews on active job sites.
Oversee electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance for commercial construction and solar projects.
Ensure all electrical work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with NEC, local codes, and company standards.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, project specifications to coordinate installations.
Plan and coordinate electrical layouts, equipment installation, and project execution.
Install and oversee installation of switchgear, transformers, distribution panels, conduit systems, and related electrical equipment.
Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment and hand tools.
Conduct inspections and quality control audits of completed work.
Train, mentor, and support field electricians and apprentices.
Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, inspectors, and other trades.
Maintain accurate project documentation and communicate project updates effectively.
Ensure adherence to OSHA safety standards and company safety protocols.
Work in varying environments including rooftops, confined spaces, and outdoor job sites.
