About The Position

CentraCare is hiring a Licensed Dental Assistant for its Dental Clinic, an outreach site for the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry located within Rice Memorial Hospital. The role supports dental care in a large, integrated hospital facility and combines community care with teaching. The team describes its environment as stable and supportive, with an emphasis on treating patients like family. The Licensed Dental Assistant provides chairside assistance to dental students, dental therapy students, faculty, and/or licensed dental staff during patient services. Duties include chairside, laboratory, and X-ray procedures, along with other assigned duties. The position also offers opportunities to contribute to teaching and mentoring in a collaborative team environment. The schedule is 72 hours every two weeks: Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., and Friday, 8:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. Starting pay begins at $29.99 per hour and increases with experience; the stated pay range is $27.80–$41.70 per hour. A $2,500 hiring bonus and a $5,000 relocation bonus may be available subject to eligibility requirements. Requirements

Graduation from an accredited dental assistant program.
Licensed by the State of Minnesota.
Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities
