About The Position

S.A. Comunale is seeking a Licensed Crane Truck Operator / Class A CDL Delivery Driver. This role supports the company by operating our crane truck and driving a truck to transport materials and equipment to specific construction job sites. S.A. Requirements

Crane Operator Certification (OSHA/NCCCO) for Boom Truck—Fixed Cab (BTF)
Unrestricted CDL Class A
High School Diploma or GED
2+ years driving experience
Possess or ability to obtain DOT Medical Card
Valid driver’s license with driving record that meets or exceeds Company standards found in the Fleet Policy
Current Class A CDL License
Previous experience operating a forklift
Able to lift a minimum of 75 pounds
Average experience with Microsoft Office (i.e., Word and Excel) applications

Nice To Haves

Vocational or industry trade school is a plus.

Responsibilities

Operate a crane / boom truck as needed.
Operate semi-truck with 53’ trailer / Unrestricted CDL Class A.
Verify and secure loads.
Inspect trucks for defects before and after trips and submit report indicating truck conditions.
Drive truck to assigned destination(s).
Assist workers in unloading and loading trucks when required.
Maintain truck log according to state and federal regulations.
Perform emergency roadside repairs such as changing tires, installing light bulbs, fuses, etc.
Maintain cleanliness of vehicle.
Convey materials and items from receiving to storage or to other designated areas.
Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence.
Fill work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items.
Maintain inventory records.
Maintain cleanliness for shop/warehouse/storage yard/parking lot/offices as needed.
Utilize tow behind trailer to make deliveries and pickups.
Deliver and pick up permit applications, permits, and approved drawings.
Understand and write a lift plan for crane operation.
Work overtime and off-hour shifts as required (possible overnights on occasion).
