We’re looking for a CDL Class A Driver to join our growing Suffield, CT team. Requirements

CDL Class A license in good standing with current DOT Medical Card (required)
Ability to obtain or currently possess Hazmat (H Endorsement) (required)
Strong customer service orientation and attention to detail

Ability to lift, push, pull, and maneuver gas cylinders and materials using proper equipment and safety procedures
Ability to load and unload deliveries, climb in and out of the truck, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
Ability to safely operate a commercial vehicle and meet all DOT physical requirements

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Prior local driving or delivery experience is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

Perform local deliveries of gas cylinders and welding supplies
Load and unload your own vehicle safely and efficiently
Maintain your truck in a clean and orderly condition
Conduct daily pre- and post-trip inspections and report any issues to management
Follow all DOT and company safety regulations
Serve as a brand ambassador in every interaction with customers and the public
Work closely with your team to meet delivery schedules while upholding Haun’s safety and quality standards
