VOA Oklahoma is currently seeking Licensed Counselor (LBHP) to join our team in Lawton, Oklahoma! Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field
  • Current Oklahoma licensure OR active pursuit of licensure as one of the following: LPC – Licensed Professional Counselor, LMFT – Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, LADC – Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor, LCSW – Licensed Clinical Social Worker
  • Valid Oklahoma Driver’s License and reliable transportation
  • Current automobile liability insurance
  • Ability to travel locally approximately 10% of work hours
  • Successful completion of background and registry checks

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, group, and family counseling services
  • Conduct crisis intervention, behavioral health assessments, and treatment planning
  • Support clients with substance use recovery through evidence-based practices, harm reduction education, relapse prevention, and withdrawal management support
  • Coordinate referrals and collaborate with healthcare, child welfare, judicial, and community agencies to ensure continuity of care
  • Partner with clients to develop individualized treatment plans focused on achievable goals and long-term success
  • Provide behavioral health case management and ongoing support services
  • Conduct on-site assessments in community settings including courts, clinics, and partner agencies
  • Build and maintain strong referral relationships throughout the community
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation within electronic health record systems
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, state regulations, licensure requirements, and ethical standards
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education
