SmartStyle Salon, conveniently located inside Walmart, is a premier salon offering high-quality hair services. Our team of passionate and talented professional hairstylists is dedicated to delivering exceptional experiences to our clients. This role involves providing exceptional leadership, guest service, understanding guest needs, providing quality consultations, and performing services requested in an efficient and professional manner. The franchise owner, Requis Inc., is one of the largest salon franchises in the US with over 500 employees nationwide.

Requirements

Current cosmetology or barber license as required by State regulations.
Desire to lead a salon.
Tech savvy and able to perform administrative tasks.
Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
Good eyesight for observing hair, including close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
Comfortable with standing, lifting, bending, and performing repetitive movements.
Ability to occasionally lift 10-25 lbs.
Comfortable with fragrances and chemicals used in treatments.
Must be okay with fragrances and chemicals.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional leadership and guest service.
Understand guest needs and provide quality consultations.
Perform hair services, including haircuts, color, highlights, waxing, and specialty services.
Lead a salon and manage daily operations.
Perform administrative tasks, including closing out the system at the end of the day.
Collaborate with corporate staff on Slack.
Participate in weekly leadership calls with the District Leader.
