Position Summary: The Licensed Clinician provides direct mental health clinical assessments and treatment to individuals with mental illness. Work with others in a clinical team environment to help individuals move toward recovery.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or other related human services degree.
  • LCSW, LPC, LMFT Licensed , Licensed Psychologist or license eligible
  • At least three years’ experience working with individuals experiencing moderate to severe mental health challenges.
  • Clinical assessment and diagnostic skills utilizing the DSM – 5.
  • Must have a clear understanding of HIPAA, confidentiality and personal boundaries.
  • Ability to navigate an electronic medical record and utilize technology effectively.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual Spanish preferred
  • Certified in EMDR (preferred)
  • Certified EMDRIA Consultant (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Provide diagnostic mental health assessments as well trauma informed and evidence based individual, family and/or group therapy and crisis intervention to clients.
  • Provide case management services to clients as needed or assigned.
  • Develop treatment plans, monitor treatment progress and follow-up as clinically indicated.
  • Assist clients with psychological development, social development, and rehabilitation.
  • Coordinate client's use of other WellPower programs and outside community resources.
  • Facilitate the coordination of medication/medicinal needs of clients with psychiatrists, nurses, and other medical resources.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical records consistent with WellPower standards.
  • Participate in team/department meetings, in-services, and supervisory sessions as required.
  • Perform 27-10 (M-1) “mental health hold” evaluations.
  • Opportunities for supervision of interns and clinicians working towards licensure (optional).
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Benefits

  • LPC/LMFT/LCSW: $34.78/hour - $72,342.40/year
  • LAC Differential - $1.00
  • Language Differential - $1-$2.50/hour for bilingual proficiency in Spanish or ASL
