About The Position

Self Care Counseling is a growing outpatient mental health practice dedicated to helping children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families improve their mental wellness and quality of life. Self Care Counseling is seeking a full-time Mental Health Therapist to join our Greendale, Indiana office. This position provides the opportunity to work with a diverse client population while receiving support from an experienced leadership team focused on professional growth, clinical excellence, and long-term success. We are looking for clinicians who are passionate about helping others, committed to ethical and high-quality care, and interested in becoming part of a collaborative and supportive team environment.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field
  • Active Ohio license including LPC, LPCC, LSW, LISW, MFT, IMFT, or equivalent
  • Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to complete documentation in a timely and professional manner
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, client-centered care

Nice To Haves

  • Experience providing outpatient mental health counseling
  • Experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, or families
  • Training in evidence-based treatment approaches
  • Experience utilizing electronic health records

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and evaluations
  • Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans
  • Provide individual, family, and couples counseling services as appropriate
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment interventions as needed
  • Collaborate with internal team members and external referral sources
  • Participate in supervision, staff meetings, training, and professional development activities
  • Maintain compliance with all ethical, legal, and organizational standards
