Requirements

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Licensed in the State of practice (Oregon) required in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health counselor or other behavioral health related field.
  • QMHP (Qualified Mental Health Professional)
  • LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor)
  • LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker)
  • LMFT (Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist)
  • CSWA (Clinical Social Work Associate)
  • LPCA (Licensed Professional Counselor Associate)
  • CPR and BFA Certification required.
  • Minimum two (2) years of work experience in behavioral health field required.
  • Proficiency in Communication & Written skills.
  • Knowledge of State & Federal Statutes Regarding Patient Confidentiality laws.
  • Knowledge of licensing and accreditation standards.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in electronic medical records utilizing HeatherAI.
  • Proficient in documenting medical standards per ASAM and Locus criteria.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Behavioral Health Field preferred.
  • Dually credentialed CADC is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy to assigned patients following program curriculum.
  • Complete and ensure appropriate sign-off of all required documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies, state regulations, Joint Commission standards, and Medical Needs Criteria. This includes Biopsychosocial Assessment and Integrated Summary, Comprehensive Problem List, Integrated Master Treatment Plan and Updates, ASAMs, therapy session notes, and Discharge Summary.
  • Use substance abuse and co-occurring therapeutic interventions and de-escalation techniques to assist patients with accomplishing treatment plan goals and objectives.
  • Assess patients for substance use disorders, risk to self or others, and co-occurring mental health disorders.
  • Manage aftercare recommendations and support to prepare patients for maintaining successful recovery.
  • Provide group therapy.
  • Manage caseload as per state requirements.
  • Participate in crisis intervention with patients as needed.
  • Participate with multidisciplinary teams to provide appropriate aftercare planning and resource securing.
  • Complete documentation daily to meet metrics of 92% completion within compliance.
  • Attend Daily Flash Meetings in the absence of the Clinical Director or Assistant Clinical Director.
  • Maintain positive relationships with all staff.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary treatment plan reviews.
  • Maintain healthy boundaries with patients and staff.
  • Ask for and accept feedback from supervisors.
  • Provide a safe and therapeutic environment to all staff and patients.
  • Communicate significant patient developments to supervisor.
  • Participate in Quality Improvement activities and contribute to the success of the organization.
  • Pursue professional development through participation in education and training programs.
  • Contribute positively to the morale of other staff members.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.
