About The Position

Liberation Programs is seeking a Licensed Clinical Supervisor to lead a new SBIRT (Screening, Brief Intervention and Referral to Treatment) program for individuals with stimulant use disorders. This program aims to enroll and retain participants in a 12-week SBIRT program, addressing the social determinants of health and their impact on individuals facing challenges in engaging with services. The supervisor will oversee the DMHAS-funded program at outpatient behavioral health clinics in Stamford and Bridgeport, focusing on improving care, support, and engagement.

Requirements

Full and encumbered CT Licensure required (LCSW,LMFT,LADC,LPC)
Knowledge of the local community and recovery support services, traditional and non-traditional, and demonstrated ability to integrate these resources into treatment
Working understanding of mental health disorders and how these diagnoses may impact recovery
Ability to professionally document services provided
Valid driver’s licenses and transportation

Nice To Haves

Self-identified person with lived experience of substance use and in recovery preferred
Completed or will complete a recovery-oriented training program

Responsibilities

Oversee fidelity and implementation of the DMHAS SBIRT program
Identify, recruit and engage individuals that may need support for a Stimulant Use Disorder
Engage with and maintain relationships with community area health care providers, behavioral health, social services, recovery supports, and additional community-based programs
Oversee a caseload of fifty (50) SBIRT clients yearly
Keep a waitlist of clients hoping to enroll when the program is at capacity of twenty-five (25) enrolled clients
Monitor twice-weekly drug tests for SBIRT clients
Deliver $25 SBIRT incentives for all successful drug tests
Enter all program data into DMHAS SBIRT system and into Liberation's electronic health record
Maintain an unbiased, working knowledge of all pathways to recovery, including other services offered at both Liberation Programs and community partners
Work collaboratively with clients, their families, community partners, and agency professionals to ensure fidelity and program success
