About The Position

This role involves providing clinical supervision to clinicians and interns, ensuring adherence to regulations and standards, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives. The position also includes direct client care, such as evaluations and therapy for a small caseload, as well as administrative duties related to medical records and case discharge. Additionally, the role requires providing transportation for clients and conducting clinical training for staff and interns.

Requirements

  • Must possess and continuously maintain throughout employment, Maryland State LCSW-C license, as well as possess and maintain the Approved Clinical Supervisor Credential.
  • Possess sound clinical judgment and critical insight to manage complex cases and make quick clinical decisions, acquired by three years of licensed social work experience.
  • Requires significant training and/or experience managing moderate to high-risk youth clients.
  • Requires valid state driver's license and must meet requirements as outlined in Sheppard Pratt's transportation policy.
  • Must be able to promote a cohesive and well-functioning team of clinicians.

  • Depending on company vehicle availability, may be required to utilize personal vehicle for transportation purposes, including transporting clients as necessary.
  • When access to a personal vehicle is required and proof of insurance is required

Responsibilities

  • Provides clinical supervision of clinicians/interns (including clinical strategies and evidence-based approaches to care).
  • Ensures compliance with all regulations and standards of COMAR, Medicaid, ADAA, MHA, OHCQ, and CARF and implementation of evidence-based practices.
  • Work with Program Director on implementation and review of quality improvement and assists with tracking program outcomes and statistics.
  • Offers individual clinical supervision and supervision groups for mental health staff and interns.
  • Works in collaboration with the Program Director, meeting regularly to support clinical audits of documentation and medical records.
  • Provides support to the Program Director on clinical consultation for program services.
  • Responsible for clinical training and orientation of staff and interns.
  • Assists with psychosocial evaluations and co-signing clinical documentation.
  • Present the program’s services to other providers and the community.
  • Oversees the storage of medical records and discharge of cases.
  • Evaluations and ongoing therapy for a small caseload of clients as needed.
  • Provides transportation of clients in personal vehicle or company vehicle.
  • Completes other duties as assigned by Director.
