About The Position
MedNorth Health Center, a nonprofit organization and federally qualified health center, is seeking additional behavioral health support for its patients. There is a shortage of providers in New Hanover County serving specific payor types (Medicaid, uninsured) who offer behavioral health services to young children (10 and under), EMDR therapy, and family and couples’ therapy. MedNorth serves all payor types, including Medicaid, Medicare, private insurance, and the uninsured. The organization is looking for therapists who can commit to a minimum of 4 hours per week, offering competitive compensation. Skills and talents, especially those with training in evidence-based practices, are highly valued.
Requirements
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
- Willingness to work a minimum of 4 hours per week.
- Training on evidence-based practices is preferred.
