Licensed Clinical Social Worker
About The Position
Backpack Healthcare is transforming access to behavioral healthcare for children, adolescents, and young adults. We are looking for passionate Licensed Clinical Social Workers and Social Work Clinicians who bring a strengths-based, trauma-informed, and systems-oriented approach to their work. This role offers flexibility and support for clinicians looking to supplement their practice, build their caseload, serve their community, or grow toward clinical leadership.
Requirements
- Active Maryland license — LCSW-C or LMSW strongly preferred
- LGPC or LCPC candidates may also be considered
- Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related behavioral health discipline
- Experience or strong interest in working with children, adolescents, and families
- Strong understanding of social work values, advocacy, equity, and client-centered care
- Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment
- Strong communication, documentation, and technology skills
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
- Commitment to trauma-informed and culturally responsive practice
Responsibilities
- Provide individual, family, and caregiver-focused therapy through secure telehealth
- Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments
- Develop strengths-based, client-centered treatment plans
- Deliver trauma-informed and culturally responsive care
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, PMHNPs, therapists, and care team members
- Support care coordination, resource linkage, and family education
- Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation in our EHR
- Partner with families to create sustainable change beyond the therapy session
