About The Position

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) serves as a key member of the Personalized Recovery Oriented Services (PROS) interdisciplinary treatment team at St. Catherine of Siena. This position provides clinical supervision to PROS staff, ensuring high-quality clinical services, regulatory compliance, and effective program oversight. The LCSW delivers comprehensive behavioral health services, including conducting assessments and intakes, providing individual and group psychotherapy, coordinating care, and supporting participants in achieving their recovery goals. The role also serves as a liaison to community providers and resources, fostering collaboration and continuity of care. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, professionalism, compassion, and a commitment to psychiatric rehabilitation principles.

Requirements

  • Current New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) required.
  • Valid New York State Driver’s License required.
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience working with adults with serious mental illness or a similar behavioral health population required.
  • Strong knowledge of social work principles, practices, and ethical standards.
  • Demonstrated understanding of psychiatric rehabilitation and recovery-oriented care.
  • Ability to provide clinical supervision, consultation, and leadership to multidisciplinary staff.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and active listening skills.
  • Ability to respond effectively and calmly during crisis situations.
  • Strong organizational, assessment, and care coordination skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with participants, families, colleagues, community providers, and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in documentation and electronic health records.
