About The Position

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker in this remote role will provide mental health therapy to clients across North Carolina through secure virtual appointments. Day-to-day clinical work includes new client intakes, individual therapy sessions, treatment plan reviews, progress documentation, and support for clients navigating stress, trauma, mood concerns, grief, and family-related challenges. This opportunity works well for an LCSW who wants a structured remote role with steady clinical responsibilities and a clear focus on client care.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program
• Active and unrestricted LCSW license in North Carolina
• Experience providing therapy or behavioral health services
• Strong understanding of assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
• Ability to manage a remote caseload with accuracy and professionalism
• Comfortable using telehealth platforms and electronic health records
• Reliable internet connection and a private workspace for virtual sessions

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical therapy services through virtual appointments
• Complete new client assessments and identify treatment priorities
• Develop care plans based on client goals, symptoms, and clinical observations
• Support clients managing depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, family concerns, and adjustment issues
• Keep organized records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and required updates
• Review client progress and adjust interventions when clinically appropriate
• Follow privacy, documentation, and telehealth compliance requirements
• Respond appropriately to risk concerns and follow escalation procedures
• Maintain professional communication with clients and support staff
