About The Position

The Mission of Morehead City Treatment Center is to provide individualized counseling, education and medication assisted recovery to opioid dependent adults in a safe, medically sound, and therapeutic environment. Requirements

Master’s degree (M.A) in Psychology, Counseling or, Social Work or related field or Associates Degree in Counseling or related field.
Maintain their LCAS-A or LCAS, credentials.
Maintain their credentialing with NCTRACKS and the designated LME/MCO.
Registration with the North Carolina Substance Abuse Board is required.
All mandated continue education hours to uphold licensure.
If in recovery, at least 2 years continuous sobriety required.
Ability to work independently as well as with the team.
Ability to maintain a high level of professional ethics.

Credentialed applicants with Trillium Health Resources, LME and Eastpointe preferred.

Responsibilities

Complete Comprehensive Clinical Assessments (CCA), ensuring that consumers are given efficient and prompt access to treatment.
Prepare the Person-Centered Plan (PCP) and Crisis Plan for each Medicaid/ Medicare client.
Maintain the PCP, updating it based on the needs of the client and/or requirement of the Medicaid/ Medicare service definition and LME/MCO.
Upload all Medicaid/ Medicare related documents to the appropriate LME/MCO provider portal.
Research, correct, and re-submit all denied authorizations and re-authorizations.
Track each Medicaid/ Medicare recipient eligibility via NCTRACKS monthly to review individual Medicaid/ Medicare eligibility.
Monitor the submission of CCA, PCP, and claims to the LME/MCO via the designated LME/MCO provider portal.
Compile an accurate weekly report of all billable services.
Facilitate SAIOP.
