About The Position

Gail’s Homecare is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and reliable Certified Nursing Assistant to provide non-medical, in-home care to an adult patient in Powder Springs, Georgia. The CNA will support the client with personal hygiene and domestic tasks according to the client’s needs and limitations, provide compassionate assistance, and document the client’s progress to support their overall wellbeing. The position pays $16 per hour, with weekly pay. The schedule is Tuesday and Thursday, either 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. or 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Requirements

• CPR/BLS and First Aid certification.
• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of full-time professional experience in a healthcare setting.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Complete at least 8 hours of personal-care-related training annually.
• Ability to work under supervision and follow care plans accurately.
• Experience in housekeeping or domestic work.
• Physically able to assist with lifting and transferring clients.
• Patient, calm, and compassionate in stressful situations.
• Willingness to perform personal care and household tasks as needed.
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
• Warm, caring personality and a strong commitment to client dignity and respect.
• Willingness to comply with legal and agency requirements.
• Valid driver’s license or state-issued ID.
• Active CNA license.
• Current CPR card.
• TB test results.
• Social Security card.
• Vaccination card.
• Existing fingerprint-based background check.

Nice To Haves

• 3–5 years of professional healthcare experience.
• Experience in a home healthcare setting.
