About The Position

JLL is seeking skilled trades professionals for multiple union positions including Electrician, Plumber/Pipefitter, HVAC Mechanic, and Building Engineer. The role involves maintaining critical systems in a large, complex federal facility, including installation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical equipment. Responsibilities include independent problem-solving, team coordination, reading technical drawings, and ensuring safe and efficient building operations. Multiple shift opportunities are available.

Requirements

  • Electrician: Current valid Master and/or Journey-Level Electrician license, 3+ years as a licensed electrician (within past 5 years) in comparable facility, Completed vocational and technical training in electrical maintenance and service work, Ability to identify common causes of electrical failures, establish routine testing procedures, apply PM strategies and techniques such as RCM, RMP, and Root cause failure analysis, Demonstrated working knowledge of electrical systems and an ability to understand and utilize electrical drawings.
  • Plumber/Pipefitter: Current valid Journey-Level Plumber/Pipefitter license, 3+ years as a licensed journeymen level plumber/pipefitter (within past 5 years) in comparable facility, Completed vocational and technical training in plumbing/pipefitting maintenance and service work, Ability to identify common causes of plumbing failures, establish routine testing procedures, apply PM strategies and techniques such as RCM, RMP, and Root cause failure analysis, Demonstrated working knowledge of plumbing systems and an ability to understand and utilize plumbing drawings.
  • HVAC Mechanic: Current valid Journey-Level and/or Master HVAC Mechanic license, Current CFC Universal Certification, 3+ years’ experience as a licensed journeymen level HVAC Mechanic (within past 5 years) in comparable facility, Completed vocational and technical training in HVAC Mechanic maintenance and service work, Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS) and Direct Digital Controls (DDC), Ability to identify common causes of HVAC/Mechanical failures, establish routine testing procedures, apply PM strategies and techniques such as RCM, RMP, and Root cause failure analysis, Demonstrated working knowledge of HVAC Mechanical system systems and an ability to understand and utilize HVAC Mechanical system drawings, Demonstrated experience working with BAS and Direct Digital Controls (DDC).
  • Building Engineer: Current valid stationary engineer's license (Class 3 Steam Engineer DC or First Grade Engineer MD equivalent), Current CFC Universal Certification, 3+ years of experience as a licensed stationary engineer (within past 5 years) in comparable facility, Ability to identify common causes of HVAC/Mechanical failures, establish routine testing procedures, apply PM strategies and techniques such as RCM, RMP, and Root cause failure analysis, Demonstrated working knowledge of HVAC Mechanical system systems and an ability to understand and utilize HVAC Mechanical system drawings, Demonstrated experience working with BAS and Direct Digital Controls (DDC).
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
