About The Position

Blue Rose Consulting Group is seeking experienced Licensed Behavioral Health Specialists to support a federal behavioral health program in San Diego, California. This is a full-time, onsite position providing behavioral health support to children and adolescents in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. This opportunity is particularly unique because California licensure is not required. Qualified clinicians who hold an active, unrestricted, independent clinical license in another U.S. state or territory may be eligible. Requirements

  • Active, unrestricted, independent clinical license in any U.S. state or territory, including LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LCPC, LMHC, Psychologist, or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience
  • Demonstrated experience working with children, adolescents, families, and/or vulnerable populations
  • Experience with trauma, crisis intervention, behavioral health, or related clinical services
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary and fast-paced environment
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Ability to work onsite in San Diego, California

Responsibilities

  • Provide behavioral health support to children and adolescents
  • Conduct behavioral health assessments and provide short-term clinical interventions as appropriate
  • Provide crisis intervention and behavioral health support in response to individual needs
  • Apply trauma-informed and culturally responsive approaches when working with children, adolescents, and vulnerable populations
  • Support individuals experiencing stress, trauma, adjustment challenges, and other behavioral health concerns
  • Collaborate with program leadership and multidisciplinary partners to support continuity and quality of services
  • Maintain appropriate professional boundaries, confidentiality, and ethical standards
  • Maintain required documentation in accordance with program requirements
  • Participate in program activities, meetings, and coordination efforts as required
  • Support additional behavioral health and program needs as assigned
