About The Position

The Tulsa Center for Behavioral Health Triage Department is hiring a Licensed Behavioral Health Professional or candidate to provide behavioral health services. The position carries a caseload of adults coping with severe mental illness and/or substance abuse and works as an active member of a triage treatment team. Duties include completing evaluations and referrals, preparing LMHP statements, and providing brief therapeutic interventions such as crisis stabilization and safety or wellness planning. The clinician also assists with retrieving referrals, scanning documents, completing intake forms, and other tasks needed to evaluate patients for screening, treatment, services, care, or outside referrals. The role is based in the Triage Department at the Tulsa Center for Behavioral Health. Regular hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; however, the agency requires coverage 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and work hours and location may vary based on business needs. Employees may be required to work weekends and overtime. Job-related travel may be required. The position offers an annual salary of $66,000 or more for a licensure candidate under supervision and $71,000 or more for a fully licensed behavioral health professional. The stated pay range is $66,000–$71,000+, based on experience, tenure, and certifications. Applicants must pass an OSBI background check. Applicants for safety-sensitive positions must submit to pre-employment or pre-placement drug testing after a conditional offer, and appointment is contingent on a negative result. The agency describes its mission as promoting healthy communities and providing high-quality care to enhance the well-being of Oklahomans. Tulsa Center for Behavioral Health provides a supportive, safe, and welcoming environment with integrated therapeutic interventions for adults experiencing mental health crises, with or without substance abuse, who are medically stable. The center is being replaced by the Oklahoma Psychiatric Care Center, a new facility under construction in downtown Tulsa.
