About The Position

PsyPhyCare is seeking an experienced Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician to provide in-person counseling and behavioral health services for a federally funded program in the Victoria, Texas area. The clinician will provide client-centered services to adults experiencing behavioral health, adjustment, trauma-related, relationship, and life-transition concerns. Services may include individual, group, couples, and family counseling.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field
  • Current independent clinical licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT
  • License in good standing and ability to practice independently
  • Experience providing behavioral health counseling to adults
  • Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to provide services in person in the Victoria, TX area

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with trauma-informed care, adjustment counseling, or similar behavioral health services preferred
  • Experience working with government, community-based, or structured behavioral health programs is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Provide in-person individual and group counseling
  • Provide couples and family counseling as appropriate
  • Conduct behavioral health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Utilize evidence-based and trauma-informed counseling approaches
  • Support clients experiencing adjustment, trauma-related, relationship, and behavioral health concerns
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Coordinate referrals and additional services when appropriate
  • Maintain confidentiality and professional standards
  • Comply with applicable federal, state, and program requirements
