About The Position

Bancroft is actively seeking a Licensed Behavior Analyst to join our Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Center of Excellence. This team consists of approximately 50 Licensed Behavior Analysts (LBAs/LBA-Ds) and Licensed Assistant Behavior Analysts (LaBAs) who provide services across the organization. The team collaborates to treat challenging behavior, build skills, and offers the opportunity to work with a large group of like-minded clinicians. Bancroft’s community-based residences for people with autism, intellectual and developmental disabilities foster a stable environment where each individual can experience independence. Direct Support Professionals help those in our care to reach their highest potential, while gaining experience and learning new skills. This position is located in Passaic County.

Requirements

• Master’s degree with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field, plus a minimum of two years of related experience with individuals with developmental disabilities, required.
• BCBA certification required.
• New Jersey licensure in behavior analysis is required.
• Candidates with an active BCBA certification may be eligible to interview.

Nice To Haves

• A PhD in a related discipline is desirable.
• Prior experience in functional assessment and treatment development is highly preferred.
• Prior management experience is also preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and oversees all activities associated with the development and implementation of behavior analytic services within the Individual Service Plan and Behavior Intervention Plan.
• Leads the development and implementation of behavior plans; this includes functional behavior assessment/analysis, preference assessments and treatment evaluations.
• Engages in ongoing data review and analysis to ensure effective programming.
• Identifies training needs and develops and conducts those trainings to ensure the ongoing knowledge and ability to effectively implement behavior plans.
• Conducts/oversees team screening admission evaluations and intake assessments; oversees the admission, transition, and discharge processes.
• Coordinates and leads clinical case review meetings (rounds) to ensure proper data review and discussion of the needs of persons’ served.
• Serves as a behavior analysis expert to the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT).
• Conducts and presents research to internal and external audiences.
• Serves as a clinical supervisor, implementing ABA themselves but also, training and directly supervising Behavior Support Specialists.
