About The Position

Terros Health is seeking a Licensed Associate Clinician for its Recovery Counseling Program at the 51st Ave Health Center in Phoenix, AZ. This is a full-time, employed position working Monday through Friday during day shifts in an outpatient setting. The role involves providing integrated care for whole-person wellness, focusing on physical health, mental health, and substance use care. Requirements

  • Master's degree (MA, MC, MSW) in a behavioral health field.
  • Arizona license or eligible for Arizona license.
  • Experience practicing in one of the following licenses: Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (LAMFT), Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC), Licensed Associate Addiction Counselor (LAAC), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Independent Addiction Counselor (LIAC).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and EHRs.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must have or be able to attain CPR/First Aid certification within 60 days of assuming role.
  • Valid AZ Driver License.
  • Must have valid Arizona driver’s license, be 22 years of age with minimum 3 years driving experience, and meet requirements of Terros Health’s driving policy.
  • Must have a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card (Level 1) or apply for an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card within 7 working days of employment.
  • Must pass a TB Test.

Responsibilities

  • Providing outpatient individual, group, and family supportive counseling to clients.
  • Charting progress, maintaining clinical records, and ensuring implementation of treatment plans.
  • Monitoring and following up on client needs, conducting re-assessments as required or as needed.
  • Coordinating services as necessary, collaborating with case managers, medical providers, and other clinic staff.
  • Providing in-home counseling sessions as indicated (a small part of overall counseling activities).
  • Services provided according to all licensure, state, and federal laws, and TERROS Policies and Procedures.
  • May sign off on non-licensed staff’s work.
