M1 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME)
About The Position
Synergy Aviation Ltd, a Volatus Aerospace Company, is seeking self-directed and motivated Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AMEs) to join their busy maintenance department. AMEs will be based out of Villeneuve Airport, with minimal field work and no extended tours away from base. The company is an industry leader in aerial surveillance and pipeline integrity monitoring, with additional services including specialized geomatics, remote pilot operators, chartered flights, and tours. Requirements
- Hold a current Transport Canada M1 AME license
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Strong observational, decision-making and time management skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Nice To Haves
- AME experience on Robinson R44, Bell 206, AS350 helicopters or Cessna 172 airplanes
- Experience on similar types will be considered
Responsibilities
- Conduct maintenance on aircraft
- Perform all maintenance activities in accordance with applicable airworthiness standards
- Ensure all paperwork for assigned tasks is complete and accurate
- Troubleshoot faulty systems and determine corrective actions
- Assist with sheet metal and avionics repairs as needed
- Work on both rotary and fixed-wing aircraft as required
