About The Position

Vanguard Skin Specialists is seeking an experienced Aesthetician who shares their motivation to make a positive impact on patients, the community, and the world. This role involves performing, explaining, and scheduling cosmetic procedures, consultations, and treatment regimens. The aesthetician will actively promote and sell skincare products and services, provide patient education and after-care instructions, and recommend cosmetic service enhancements. This position is responsible for all cosmetic discussions, relaying information between doctors and patients, and scheduling follow-ups and treatments. Adherence to compliance and completion of training is also required, along with performing other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Aesthetician degree or commensurate experience
Proven track record of working well on teams and delivering excellence
Excellent verbal and written skills required

Nice To Haves

1-2 years of related experience in a dermatology or plastic surgery medical office is preferred.

Responsibilities

Performs, explains, and schedules cosmetic procedures, consults, and treatment regimens.
Actively promotes and sells skincare products and services.
Provides appropriate patient education and after-care instructions.
Recommends cosmetic service enhancements and implements approved plans.
Assists with development of advertising and promotional materials.
Responsible for all cosmetic discussions regarding available treatment options.
Responsible for aftercare instructions, relaying information between the doctor and the patient and from the patient to the doctor.
Schedules appropriate follow up and treatments.
Adherence to compliance and completion of compliance training.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
