About The Position

Reno Behavioral Healthcare Hospital is a 124-bed hospital dedicated to elevating the standard of care for its community. Located in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range, the hospital offers amazing career opportunities. Founded in 2018, it is dedicated to providing the best inpatient and outpatient treatment for mental health and addiction to patients of all ages. The hospital is growing and seeking more Therapists to help guide patients on their journey of recovery. This is a full-time position where the clinician will create curriculum for groups based on evidenced-based modalities, provide psycho-therapeutic services to patients and their families, and serve as a member of an interdisciplinary team supporting the organization's treatment program and philosophy. The role ensures the deliverance of quality treatment to patients and their families, evaluates patient data, develops and implements a plan of care, completes progress notes and discharge plans in a timely fashion, ensures compliance with all treatment plan requirements, and documents treatment provided to patients in their medical record. The therapist will also complete all reports for suspected abuse as legally mandated and consistently inform their supervisor.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Work or similar field required.
  • NV LICENSURE REQUIRED

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum one (1) year previous experience as a therapist preferred.
  • History of working/running groups.

Responsibilities

  • Document treatment provided to patients in their medical record based on established case management guidelines.
  • Complete all reports for suspected abuse as legally mandated and consistently inform supervisor.
