About The Position

Prairie View is seeking a compassionate and driven Substance Use Disorder Counselor to join our team in McPherson, Kansas. This role provides the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting individuals and families through recovery while working alongside a collaborative clinical team.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Addiction Counseling or a related field required
Will consider a Kansas Licensed QMHP, with preference given to licensed addiction counselors
Eligible credentials include LAC, LMAC, or LCAC
Minimum of one (1) year of experience in behavioral health, clinical counseling, or case management
Experience working with adolescents, adults, and older adults in a substance use disorder setting
Applicants must be able to reliably commute to this location.

Responsibilities

Provide individual and group counseling to individuals and family members
Conduct assessments both in-person and via telehealth
Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans
Communicate regularly with referral sources and care partners
Maintain clinical outcomes in alignment with Prairie View standards
Support coordination of care and services across providers
Complete timely and accurate documentation in compliance with Prairie View and licensing standards
Attend administrative and team meetings as scheduled
Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary staff
Participate in clinical supervision as needed
Engage in ongoing staff development and required trainings
