About The Position
Stranger Soccer is seeking an entrepreneurial License Owner to launch and grow its local football operation in Philadelphia. This opportunity is intended for someone who wants to build and operate a business while making an impact in the local community. The License Owner will oversee local team-building, venue selection, marketing, customer acquisition, game operations, and player experience, while working with the Singapore headquarters and its operations and technology teams. Stranger Soccer uses an app that lets players discover games, book a spot, and turn up to play. Founded in Singapore, the company is expanding across cities worldwide. Its mission is to make playing football as easy as going for a jog, and its vision is a world where playing football is as popular and accessible as watching football.
Requirements
- Passion for football and involvement in the local football community.
- Experience in management, operations, or customer service.
- An entrepreneurial mindset and a desire to build a business.
- Ability to take ownership and grow the Stranger Soccer brand locally.
- Strong drive, resilience, and a results-oriented attitude.
Responsibilities
- Launch and grow Stranger Soccer in Philadelphia.
- Build and manage a local team, including staff and Official Hosts.
- Secure suitable football venues.
- Drive marketing and customer acquisition to grow the player community.
- Oversee game operations and deliver an outstanding player experience.
- Work closely with the Singapore headquarters, supported by operations and technology teams.
