About The Position

Tryfacta is seeking a License Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for our client in Ashland, KY, 41102. This is a temporary contract assignment. The position involves developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for youth, providing counseling services, conducting crisis intervention and behavioral health assessments, managing suicide/homicide watch cases, completing clinical documentation, leading interdisciplinary treatment team meetings, collaborating with various stakeholders, developing behavioral management plans, coordinating referrals, serving as on-call clinical support, and participating in evidence-based therapeutic programming. The role requires maintaining compliance with DJJ policies, state regulations, and accrediting standards.

Requirements

  • Must meet Kentucky KRS 600.020(52) requirements as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP).
  • Strong documentation and clinical assessment skills.
  • Excellent communication and crisis management abilities.
  • Active state licensure in good standing required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with adolescents, behavioral health, juvenile justice, residential treatment, or crisis intervention preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for youth within the facility.
  • Provide individual, group, and family counseling services.
  • Conduct crisis intervention and behavioral health assessments.
  • Manage suicide/homicide watch cases and develop safety plans.
  • Complete clinical documentation including intake assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, discharge plans, and court reports.
  • Lead interdisciplinary treatment team meetings and maintain meeting documentation.
  • Collaborate with correctional staff, medical providers, families, courts, schools, and community partners.
  • Develop behavioral management plans for youth with challenging behaviors.
  • Coordinate referrals for higher levels of psychiatric care when necessary.
  • Serve as on-call clinical support for after-hours emergencies.
  • Participate in evidence-based therapeutic programming after completion of required DJJ training.
  • Maintain compliance with DJJ policies, state regulations, and accrediting standards.
