Full Time 310T Licenced Mechanic (Simcoe)
About The Position
This role is for a Full Time 310T Licensed Mechanic in Simcoe, reporting directly to the Fleet & Assets Manager. The mechanic is responsible for evaluating and ensuring vehicle safety through preventative maintenance, adhering to all Ministry of Transportation (MTO) and Voyago's guidelines. This includes utilizing and ordering parts through Fleet Management software, completing repairs in a timely manner, and servicing vehicles in accordance with corporate policies. The role also involves maintaining a clean work environment and completing required reports, such as sign-offs on driver-initiated repair logs, log books, and PM service logs.
Requirements
- Registered with the STO as 310T Truck and Coach Mechanic or dual licensed.
- ODP certification with A/C experience.
- Experience and working knowledge of light duty diesel repair, as well as gasoline.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Sound organizational competencies.
- Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and team-building skills.
- Excellent proven customer service experience.
- Valid G class driving license.
- Safe driver with a clean driving record.
Nice To Haves
- Dual licensed mechanics preference.
Responsibilities
