As a Library Technician with TAFE NSW, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of innovative library and information services. You will help create a welcoming, vibrant and inclusive library environment, support the use of digital technologies and maintain library collections and systems to provide positive learning experiences for our diverse range of learners.
Requirements
- Accredited Diploma of Library and Information Science.
- Eligible for membership with ALIA.
- Passion to support learning through access to library services and resources.
- Enjoy helping customers to use digital systems, library technologies, and equipment.
- Provide guidance to access information and resolve issues.
- Motivated and organised team player.
- Take care to maintain records, collections, and facilities accurately.
- Adaptable and flexible.
- Respond to changing needs in a dynamic environment.
- Willing to travel between network libraries as per business requirements.
- Hold a valid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) prior to commencing.
- Be an Australian citizen, a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand passport.
