Library Services Coordinators oversee a department or branch of the Leon County Public Library. The purpose of this position is to produce highly responsible professional work in library administration and supervise high-quality library services. The person in this position oversees the operations, maintenance, and services of the branch or department they are assigned. The person in this position may supervise two or more full-time equivalent employees, assure proper staff coverage for services and programs to the public, be the Person in Charge for the day at different locations, contributes to collection maintenance activities, and assist in staff coverage at different library locations. The person in this position serves on the Library’s Management Team and other committees or teams as assigned. Library Services Coordinators uphold the mission and values of the library system when performing these duties by following library policies and procedures while providing excellent customer service to all internal and external customers.
