About The Position

The Library Media Technician position is at Vina Danks Middle School. The posting may also be used by other sites and/or departments. Requirements

• Two years of college-level coursework in library science and at least two years of progressively responsible experience in a library or media center, including acquisitions, cataloging, reference, and bibliography compilation; or a combination of education, training, and experience that provides the requisite knowledge and ability.
• Must pass evaluations in Microsoft Basic Word 2010, Microsoft Basic Excel 2010, customer service, alphabetic filing, and proofreading.
• Submit required, legible documents as attachments to the EdJoin application before the closing deadline. Documents must identify the applicant and the educational institution; incomplete applications will not be accepted.
• Proof of high school graduation is required.
• Applicants must pass all tests to be considered further.
