This is a full-time position located at the State Library in Baton Rouge, LA. This position manages all aspects of the Access Services Department of the State Library. Access Services entails three major functions: interlibrary loan, circulation, and the mailroom. Interlibrary loan involves the manager being the system administrator of the automated resource sharing system which manages loans to other libraries and borrowing of materials from other libraries to provide to State Library patrons. Circulation involves the manager overseeing the Horizon automated system that manages the check-out and check-in, confidential patron files, and inventory functions of the Library. This position also oversees the mailroom and stack maintenance functions. This is the most visible library manager 3 position because the Circulation unit operates the front desk of the Library.
