About The Position
St. Cecilia School, located at 440 Norton Road in Columbus, is seeking a part-time Library Educational Aide for the 2026/2027 school year. This role involves maintaining the library, managing circulation, and fostering a nurturing, Christ-centered environment within our Catholic school. The aide will support students and teachers, uphold school policies, and promote Catholic values.
Requirements
- Hold an appropriate aide license or be eligible to obtain one before starting to work
- Current satisfactory FBI and BCI background checks
- Have attended or be willing to attend a Virtus Protecting God's Children training
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience working in a school or library setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in computer skills (e.g., MS Office, circulation software).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students and staff.
- Ability to lift up to 50lb and move, stand, or kneel to shelve books.
