About The Position

The Chattahoochee Valley Libraries is hiring a full-time Library Associate for South Columbus Public Library. This is a 40-hour-per-week position. The associate delivers engaging library programming and teaches literacy skills across age groups, both in the branch and through community outreach. Applicants should value people and personal and professional excellence, and be passionate about children and family services and taking library programs into the community. The role requires a flexible schedule to meet library needs, including rotating nights and weekends, and the ability to thrive and produce excellent results in a fast-paced, team-focused environment. Applicants must have current, proficient technology skills, communicate effectively with the public, supervisor, and team, and be committed to first-rate service for external and internal customers.
