About The Position

We're seeking a proactive and dynamic team player to join our Public Services team and help us grow and expand our already robust lineup of programming. Successful candidates will be well organized, have strong attention to detail, and enjoy providing service at the level of WOW! This role involves working with the public and collaborating to create fun and memorable library experiences.

Requirements

Associates degree or equivalent level of experience required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent planning skills, attention to detail, and time management skills
Ability to use and troubleshoot building technology such as computers, AV systems, and assistive devices

Nice To Haves

2 years of related public library experience preferred

Responsibilities

Works collaboratively to curate a strong line-up of presenter-led programming.
Develops and facilitates library services and adult programming by contracting external presenters and performers.
Assists customers at busy public service points within the Library with reference, reader’s advisory, and electronic resources.
Tracks and processes attendance data and evaluates program outcomes to inform future programming decisions.
Stays informed on current and emerging programming trends to enhance offerings and customer experience.
