About The Position

As the Library Adult Programming Coordinator, you’ll help connect community members with learning opportunities and library resources through engaging adult programs, while supporting front-line library service. Key responsibilities include coordinating adult programming; assisting patrons with questions; teaching research methods, library services, and basic computer skills; completing clerical work; maintaining files and records; and handling cash transactions as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma (or equivalent) plus one year of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with co-workers and the public
  • Knowledge of library research methodology and the ability to teach research skills
  • Computer literacy and the ability to teach computer skills to patrons
  • Ability to maintain records and count money
  • Valid Colorado driver license
