The City of Boise is hiring a Full-Time Library Assistant III at the Downtown Library! Help connect Boise residents with information, technology, and library resources as a full-time Library Assistant III at the Downtown Library! As part of the Information Services team, this position provides direct patron support at the public desk, over the phone, and through reference, reader’s advisory, circulation, and technology assistance. The role includes helping patrons use computers, format documents, access online tools, and navigate library resources, while also supporting purchasing, supplies, staff guidance, programming, and daily operations. This position has a full-time (40 hours/week) schedule, and will work Sunday through Thursday, with Tuesday as the evening shift. To ensure internal equity and alignment with the approved budget for this position, offers are made within the posted hiring range.
