About The Position

Library Aides provide excellent service to our customers behind the scenes by ensuring returned materials are checked in correctly and distributed to their next destination. They are also visible in our libraries as they accurately shelve materials to be readily accessible by staff and customers, pull items to fill customer hold requests, and perform various collection maintenance tasks such as inventory, accurate relocation of mis-shelved items, organizing materials, and pulling assigned materials for removal from the collection. Aides may assist with set-up or tear-down for library programs.
