About The Position

Madison College’s Libraries and Academic Support Services is seeking a Librarian to provide library and academic support services at the Goodman South Branch Campus. The position provides daily, real-time academic technology support to students with varied technical skills, helping them use digital tools, troubleshoot technology challenges, and develop the skills and confidence needed to participate in coursework. Digital and information literacy instruction is central to the role, delivered through individual assistance, reference and circulation desk services, classroom instruction, and instructional content creation. The role connects students and faculty with technology, information resources, and personalized instruction to strengthen engagement, support academic success, and expand access to learning services. This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. Operational hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Flexibility is required, and evenings and Saturdays may be required based on business need. The position currently offers a hybrid schedule of three days on campus and two days remote, subject to change under Madison College policy.
