Wayne State University is searching for an experienced Librarian I/II, Nursing and Health Sciences Librarian, University Library System at its Detroit campus location. Shiffman Medical Library, and the Walter P. Reuther Library of Labor and Urban Affairs. Position Purpose: The Wayne State University Libraries support the education, research, and service missions of the University and its communities through comprehensive, high-quality resources, services, and programs. Our collections include: ● 3+ million volumes ● 56,000+ journal titles ● 800,000+ e-books The Nursing Librarian serves as the primary liaison between the University Library System and the College of Nursing, providing expert support for teaching, research, and clinical information needs. While part of the central campus libraries, this role will also collaborate with colleagues from the Shiffman Medical Library in developing services and an integrated approach to providing library services to all parts of Wayne State’s health sciences programs.
