About The Position

A Liaison Officer I acts as a liaison between a City agency and the community and promotes and coordinates agency programs. Work of this class involves no supervisory duties or responsibilities. Incumbents receive general supervision from a technical superior. Employees in this class work a conventional workweek that may involve evening hours. Work is performed in an office and in the community where normal working conditions are encountered. Work requires minimal physical exertion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Three years of experience in community service work or administrative coordination.
  • Knowledge of the principles and techniques of public administration.
  • Administrative ability.
