About The Position

Investigates, adjusts and maintains liability claims. Reviews coverages, obtains necessary investigatory information and determines liability. This role investigates claims by determining applicable policy coverage, evaluates, negotiates and settles assigned Bodily Injury claims. It initiates contact with insureds, claimants, and all relevant parties to gather basic information, obtain recorded statements (when necessary), and explain the overall claims process. It also evaluates damages and prepares written estimates according to policy provisions and liability.

Requirements

• Typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education and training.
• Maintains the appropriate adjuster's licensing as required by the states in which we do business.
• Prior experience handling bodily injury claims, including investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and settlement.
• Ability to maintain adjuster licensing as required by the states in which the company does business.
