About The Position

COUNTRY Financial is seeking an experienced Senior Claims Liability Representative to join their Claims team. This is a hybrid role requiring three days per week in the office. The position involves investigating, adjusting, and maintaining liability claims, reviewing coverages, obtaining necessary investigatory information, and determining liability. The Senior Claims Liability Representative will leverage advanced investigation and negotiation skills to manage complex liability claims, deliver fair and timely resolutions, and provide exceptional service. The role plays a critical part in supporting member satisfaction while upholding COUNTRY's values of integrity, accountability, and care.

Requirements

Typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education and training.
Maintains the appropriate adjuster's licensing as required by the states in which we do business.

Responsibilities

Investigates claims by determining applicable policy coverage, evaluates, negotiates and settles assigned claims with a focus on Bodily Injury and Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin statutes and laws.
Investigates claims by determining applicable policy coverage, evaluates, negotiates and settles assigned claims.
Initiates contact with insureds, claimants, and all relevant parties to gather basic information, obtain recorded statements (when necessary), and explain the overall claims process.
Evaluates damages and prepares written estimates according to policy provisions and liability.
