For some students, progress is measured in moments others might overlook: joining a group, communicating a need, completing a difficult task, or making it through a challenging day with someone steady beside them. As a Special Education Paraeducator, you will help create those moments through patience, encouragement, and the belief that every student is capable of growth. This work calls for someone who can look beyond a difficult moment and continue to see the student—a young person with strengths, feelings, humor, and possibilities of their own. You will provide individualized support, celebrate meaningful progress, and help students build the confidence and skills to participate more fully in their classroom and school community. The days will not always be easy, but your presence can make school feel safer, more manageable, and more hopeful for a student who needs you. If you are compassionate, dependable, and willing to meet students where they are while helping them move forward, we invite you to consider joining our team.
